As an example of communality we created a synopsis for a movie with the listeners at our keynote seminar. Here is the synopsis, created by me in a few minutes, from the ideas given by the audience:

Assembly – year zero

During Assembly ‘07 the Earth’s magnetic poles change places, bringing forth chaos unlike anything mankind has ever seen. The world is laid to ruin in an accidental nuclear war caused by the catastrophe.

The visitors of Assembly are trapped in the Hartwall Arena, for the moment an oasis among the nuclear wasteland. However they are a chance to survive after a narcoleptic pilot (Chuck Norris) crashes a plane filled with food through the roof.

The movie is a gripping tale of survival after the end of the world as we know it. Vesa-Matti Loiri stars as a technology-hating TV-evangelist who becomes the saviour for the remnants of humanity after the world goes back to year zero as all electric technology is rendered useless.

Can they save the world’s last surviving female, a diabetic girl played by Jenna Jameson, and re-populate the Earth?

As a surprise bonus competition we’re announcing the Assembly – Year Zero cover competition. Create a cover for the film and we’ll post the best one to the blog. The winner will get a signed copy of Star Wreck: Legacy as soon as we get the discs.
