To keep an eye out what people are talking abotu us I’ve subscribed to Google Alerts for terms like “Star Wreck” and “Iron Sky”. Quite often these alerts have something that’s got absolutely nothing to do with us, most often it is bad poetry in the lines of “…something something something, under the iron sky…”

Now and then there’s something awesome, like this blog post entitled “Star Wreck” about pictures of Urban Star Wars…

Nobody seems to know the source, but here are some more.

All the stuff we managed to film on friday was so dull we didn’t bother doing a daily of it. But instead here’s some text adventure inspired nerdcore rap from MC Frontalot.

Tonight’s episode (and by night I mean 2:30 in the morning…) we have some special guest stars visiting us - Tung Bui and Antti Satama!

Energidiots seem to have had a rather silly day at the office while I was away, and the latest Energia Dailies reflected that pretty well, I think. So, it’s good to hear somebody talk something important for a change. So here’s Joi Ito talking about various things - Star Wreck, for example. Take it away, Joi! (From Loic Le Meur’s blog).

Timo was on a business trip today, so instead Me and Antti decided we should make a boring video and answer questions. Then Samuli got his hands on it…

Time for the third edition of Energia Dailies. Today I’ve been making a fool out of myself, Samuli is working even harder and Family Guy has taught us the formula to perfect Star Wars dialogue.

Illalla on viime vuoden kokemusten perusteella luvassa hyvää musiikkia ja hyvää meininkiä, mutta mielenkiintoisin osuus on ehdottomasti päiväohjelma. Viime vuonna esiintymässä oli Juhan Af Grannin ja lopunaikojen tutkija Teijo-Kalevi Lusan ohella meikäläinen puhumassa elokuvien tekemisestä ja erikoistehosteista. Tänä vuonna aiheena on seksi ja erotiikka ufo-kokemuksissa, Raelilainen ufo-uskonto sekä ufottomana puhujana ympäristöfilosofi Pentti Linkola.

Linkola tunnetaan lähinnä valtakunnan ekofasistina, on hän yksi aikamme tärkeimpiä Suomalaisia filosofeja. Vaikka hänen kanssaan ei voisikaan olla samaa mieltä siitä miten asioihin tulisi reagoida, on hän jo vuosikymmeniä nostanut esille epämiellyttäviä totuuksia luonnon kantokyvyn ylittämisestä.

Voimme sanoa Linkolan olevan väärässä hänen kannattaessaan ihmiskunnan joukkotuhoa, mutta voimme vain toivoa, että hän olisi väärässä uskoessaan sen oleva ainoa tapa varmistaa luonnon ja sitä kautta ihmiskunnan selviytyminen lajina.

Tamperelaiset antifasistit ovat myöskin yrittäneet saada Linkolalle porttikieltoa Telakalle hänen “ekonatsisminsa” vuoksi. Vaikka en olekaan samaa mieltä Linkolan kanssa keinoista, aion käydä kuuntelemassa mitä hänellä on sanottavaa syistä.
