Cannes video blogging continues. No Rihanna in sight, only the search for an umbrella to shield us from the sun. And pirates, a whole shop full of them.

Here is ice-hockey: http://www3.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=icehockey
Just get the right software (I use Sopcast because it works - instructions on the same site) and voilà, you have hockey with swedish commentary. Not quite Mertaranta but will do. I’m also watching the games from abroad…
Oh, and I hope you have a PC over there, I don’t know if any of those p2p programs have versions for that Apple…
Oh(2), Sopcast works best with an external player (I use VLC, also because it works) because WMP sucks.
Have you already tasted French food ?
BTW, what you holded in you hand was a sandwich. When you order a Baguette at a bakeri you will only get the bread.
For breakfast should get Croissant or Brioche. Is much more better than baguettes.
Size of baguettes similar breads:
Pain (the standard bread in france) > baguette (what it is most know) > ficelle (very thin)
Thanks for the clarification about the french bread. It seems that I’m turning into a masochist here in Cannes as I like pain so much.
And oh yes, we’ve tasted french food. It is quite excellent all through.
Yesterday we ate The World’s Greatest Spaghetti Carbonnara
