More development support for Iron Sky

December 19th, 2008 by Timo Vuorensola

We are pleased to inform that Iron Sky has been granted another 50000€ for development by Kaisu Isto from the Finnish Film Foundation! Thanks!

You can also share some production support for us (or as an idea for a great christmas present :) in the form of War Bonds!

It’s nice to see that Finnish Film Foundation is supporting different movies also! When is the filming of Iron Sky starting?

  2. We are looking forward into starting shootings fall of 2k9, but that’s still quite unsure – depends much on the main production funding, when are we able to close it.

I find it very suspicious that your film is getting pre-production grants every now and then. The name “Kaisu Isto” sounds made-up. And the thing that by far sets the most alarms ringing is that you’re suggesting Finland is such a rich country that it can give away money to movie makers – come on, there are old people who might not meet a nurse more often than twice a week! This is _definitely_ part of CIA’s scheme.
