His In the Bedroom is one of the best films of the decade and although Little Children wasn't as good, it was pretty good too. Another quite interesting coming Cormac McCarthy adaptation is The Road, directed by John Hillcoat (The Proposition). Also Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life should be released this year.
