“It’s a Plingon ship!”

January 21st, 2009 by Timo Vuorensola

Spotted a nice little Wreck reference from TrekMovie.Com:

Star Trek Enterprise’s Jolene Blalock will appear in a Star Trek parody on the TBS show 10 Items or Less, airing tonight. Blalock will be playing herself, having been lured to a “Star Trok” convention held in a grocery store, which is the main setting for the semi-improvisational comedy show.

And here’s an ad for it:

  1. The trouble with spoof names made up when you were 13 is that you really can’t tell if someone is making an intertextual reference to Star Wreck or did they just make up in a hurry when they couldn’t shout “Klingon”. But at least the one commenter at trekmovie.com seemed to go for the intertextual reference angle.
