Bitchin'

(pun intended)

Congrats. Even being nominated is a major achievement.

Younger I read some of Johanna's short stories in various SF fanzines. They seemed to have an angsty feminist twist that irked a young stud then. Not in a bad way, but much like Le Guin. Gotta haul ass and get myself to read her more recent work.

Tianyi: Lasisilmä was even stranger experience to read after working with Johanna in a scriptwriting team. It often is scarily accurate potrayal of how scriptwriting teams work.

I just finished reading Sinisalo's novel "Lasisilmä" (The Glass Eye), which was quite entertaining. I've also read Cory Doctorow's "Little Brother" (nominated for best novel category). It's a free book and you can get it from Craphound.com.
