Helmikuussa 2005 Timo esitteli Pirkinningin tekoa joukolle sivareita Lapinjärvellä. Silloin olisi kyllä kuulostanut aika utopistiselta jos olisi laukonut, että muutaman vuoden päästä tehdään pätkää vähän eri budjetilla. Eteenpäin on menty!

The best of luck with the shoot, and have fun! The sched’s tight, but you guys are miracle makers.

And a great big thankee for letting us follow you, and extra special thanks for the honesty. Too often directors and the team come across as übermench – everything is always going just great… As if filmmaking wasn’t about overcoming obstacles. It is great to follow a team that I can relate to.
