There hasn’t been many shooting days of Iron Sky where we didn’t have at least some kind of stunt wire action here in Australia, on Wednesday was definitely one of them. A lot of jumping around and falling from high places. For that, Darko had been rigging wires and we had mats, winches and such things all over the studio floor. Chris Kirby (“Washington”) is usually doing his stunts by himself, and that was the case again, but we always have the stunt doubles close by, usually lining up the shots and giving tips to the actors.

The only thing that bugs me with Wednesday is a small costume continuity detail we botched on the set. It’d be easy to go blaming around, but really it was my fault for not noticing that a piece of clothing was missing in the wide shots as compared to closeups, and it’ll be a bitch in the post to fix it, but I’m quite sure in the end it’ll be nothing you will ever notice. But it bugs me :)
